Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about Sandbox play, invitations, game types, fees and what is coming next.
What is WagOne?+
WagOne is a social football prediction game. Challenge one friend in a Quick Game, or create a League Game for friends, squads or the public and compete on the standings.
What is Sandbox mode?+
Sandbox mode uses free Tokens that have no monetary value and cannot be bought, cashed out or transferred off the platform. New accounts receive a starting balance, and eligible accounts receive a monthly top-up, so you can play every game type without depositing money.
Is real money involved?+
No. Every game on WagOne is played with free Sandbox Tokens. We intend to add a real-money Live mode in future, but it is not available anywhere in the app today and will not launch until we hold the licences required to operate it lawfully. Section 6 of the Terms of Service sets out how it will work.
How do League Games work?+
Choose a competition and matchday, set an entry at or above the app's minimum, then invite friends or make the game public. Everyone picks the same fixtures before the deadline, and the standings update when results arrive.
How do Quick Games work?+
A Quick Game is a 1v1 challenge. Choose the game, set the stake and optionally invite one person by their WagOne tag. Your invitee reviews the details before accepting, and the game settles when its result is known.
What are Squads?+
Squads are persistent groups for people who play together. They can be public or private, use a shareable squad code, and show whether you are an admin or member. Squad admins can also choose an image or one of WagOne's icons.
How do invitations and game codes work?+
Open an invitation or enter its code on the Join page. WagOne shows the game, players, entry, deadline and any applicable fee before you confirm, so you can review exactly what you are joining.
When is a platform fee charged?+
A platform fee may apply to public games. When it does, WagOne shows the fee with the entry amount before you join. Private League Games and private Quick Games are not charged a platform fee.
What is my WagOne tag?+
Your unique @tag helps friends find the correct profile, invite you to a Quick Game and send transfers. If tag changes are enabled, you can update yours from your account settings.
Can I reset my Sandbox balance?+
Your balance is a running total of Token grants, entries, wins and transfers, so it cannot be manually reset. Eligible accounts receive the configured monthly Sandbox top-up automatically.
How do I close my account or request my data?+
Email bzzroptions@gmail.com and we will handle it directly. You can edit your display name, photo and notification preferences yourself in Settings. Note that the Token transaction record is permanent by design — it is what makes every balance verifiable — so closing an account detaches your profile from those entries rather than erasing them. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
